Our People, Our Success
Zuko Kubukeli, with the support and capital from Pan-African Capital Holdings and RMB Ventures, put the Motivity team together.
Zuko is also an Executive Director at Pan-African Capital Holdings and is responsible for strategy and acquisitions. During his time in this role, together with other parties, he founded the first cleantech fund on the African continent – the Inspired Evolution Fund – capitalised at ZAR800m. Prior to Pan-African, Zuko was Executive Director at Brait Specialised Funds.
Riaz Vally is a founder member of Motivity when it was originally called R&S Consulting. He has seen the business grow from a staff complement of 3 to over 350 employees. Riaz also served as CEO from June 2014 to March 2016.
Co-founder of Dimension Data, Richard Came sits on a number of boards and has invested in a number of ICT companies and initiatives. He has been involved in numerous start-ups, mergers, acquisitions and disposals including three venture capital funds. Significant investments and directorships include Dark Fibre Africa, Tradebridge and Vumatel. Richard is also a founder member of the FTTH Council Africa.
Tlhabeli ‘TC’ Ralebitso is a business acceleration specialist with 20 years’ experience in sectors including telecoms, financial services, energy and manufacturing. He was an executive of Vodacom South Africa responsible for Vodacom Ventures, their private equity and incubation division and is currently Chairman of Vulatel, a fibre infrastructure provider. TC joined the Motivity board in early 2017.
Songezo Mdulwa is currently the Joint CEO of Motivity. He joined the team as Finance Director in October 2015, bringing with him a wealth of experience in telecoms having held Executive and Senior Management positions in both Vodacom and Telkom International. He was also General Manager of Finance and Banking with Celpay Zambia Limited and Deputy Managing Director of Celpay DRC.
Greg Hatfield is currently the Joint CEO of Motivity. He joined in October 2016 after spending three years as the executive for Products and Solutions at MTN Business South Africa. Prior to that Greg was at Internet Solutions and Dimension Data in a variety of product, business unit and customer-facing roles, often taking new offerings from concept stage to that of a going concern.
